Blog Relations
About
Hello,
I’m Hugh Fraser, and I am the director of Blog Relations. We specialise in developing sites that run on WordPress – which is a blogging platform ++++ it can run just about any type of site, it’s cutting edge, and it’s free.
We consider ourselves to be different from most design agencies, because we don’t just develop a site for you – will give you all the help we can with building up visitor traffic and search engine rankings. We make sure that your site is visible to search engines. We advise you on content and social media strategy. And of course we are there to help you with any technical frustrations.
For most of my working life I have been a journalist (I worked for the BBC World Service) so I’m thinking in terms of making content work on the web.
Web Design Services
We do the coding. For graphics, we call on the talents of Sophie Green. Sophie has worked for ten years for leading design agencies. Now she’s freelance – and if you need other design services, why not go to her direct? She can paint your portrait or do your business card, and everything else between.
But of course many people just have a site that they want coded into WordPress so that they can take advantage of its user-friendly features. They may have a design and a strategy of their own. We are happy to do the coding for them.
Storynory
We don’t just talk the talk. We publish our own Podcast
Storynory – Free audio stories for kids. Storynory serves around 250,000 downloads of its MP3 files a month. We live and breath this site – and you will benefit from all the lessons we have learned at first hand.
And of course if you are starting a podcast, we are the people with experience there.
Podcast Services and Voice-Overs
Last, but certainly not least, my collaborator in podcasting is Natasha Gostwick who is the voice of Storynory. If you need any voice-over work for your site, then let Natasha’s lovely voice speak for you.
And we are starting a new service in which Natasha will run story-telling workshops, and we will show you how to podcast them too. We are aiming this in the first place at schools – but are open to all ideas – so if you are interested, please get in touch.
