We’ve been trying out a little experiment on our Storynory podcast. Normally our presenter Natasha reads children’s stories, but we are starting to slip in some interviews with children’s authors. The first interview is with Ed Vere, the author and illustrator of a book called The Getaway.

We think – but can’t be sure – that our listeners will like to hear directly from kids’ authors sometimes. In any case, it’s nice that the publicity departments of publishers like Puffin are starting to see the value of their authors speaking to our highly targeted audience. I have a large box of kids’ books from Puffin, and I must say I’m rather enjoying reading them – just racing to the end of the latest Young Bond now.
