It’s a bit strange that Wal-Mart and Edelman set up an organisation called “Working Families for Wal-Mart”, which was involved in its blog fiasco. It has a familar ring. It sounds so much like the sort of front organisation that the Good Old Soviet Union would have set up in the West to further their cause. This isn’t so much marketing, as propaganda.
Perhaps they felt the need to counter organisations like Wal-Mart Watch.
