Da Vinci Code Critics
Most companies try to stifle the critics of their products. Or at least ignore them. But Sony, perhaps anticipating an avalanche of dung, has set up a website specifically for people who want to have a go at its upcoming film of The Da Vinci Code.
Good for them. Most big companies have struggled wiht the issue of how to cope with online critics. Actually, Sony is doing the mature thing. You can’t stop them, so you may as well let them have as much space. Their Christian critics might even call it turning the other cheek.
Still, the website will mainly just be a forum for critics who dislike the film and book for trivialising religion. But what about people who just think its a rubbish story?
