Happy Year of the Dog
The Chinese Zodiac is probably as accurate as most pundits when it comes to predictions. I learn from Joel Cere that this will be the Chinese Year of the Dog (starting January 29th). According to the Wikipedia, “dogs” include Winston Churchill, Steven Spielberg, Michael Jackson, and Elvis. People born in this year are loyal, honest, and trustworthy, but can also be stubborn and selfish. This of interest to me as a new arrival is due in our home on February 10th.
It is indeed the year of the fire dog (http://www.chinesefortunecalendar.com/2006.htm).. I don’t know whether this is good or bad and the site I referenced will leave you as confused
All the best for the new arrival – little Johnny is now three and a half months old and has not only started sleeping through the night but also getting used to spending a little time in his own company.
He also gurgles happily when being given his bath – there are possibilities here for a doting-parents-with-relatives-abroad podcast here, though I don’t know how well the magic will bottle.
