The term ‘podcast’ been declared as Word of the Year by the New Oxford American Dictionary. We couldn’t agree more with their choice. Podcasts have crept up on the world surprisingly quickly. As little as two months ago, few people had heard of them. Now they are everywhere. Some people will take that as evidence of an accelerating pace of change, and there is some truth in that. But the real clue to it is that podcasts - when they are done well - offer something genuinely new and useful. And that is always going to catch on quickly.
