France UK Vietnam Podcast
This podcast is a Skype call with two British bloggers who write about foreign parts.
The download is here. You can listen now by clicking on the sidebar.
Craig McGinty started his blog, thisfrenchlife.com while living in a village in the Dordogne. He makes four figures from advertising and is turning pro-blogger.
Graham Holliday lives in Vietnam and writes about the colourful and tasty street food of Saigon on his blog, noodlepie.com. He does it partly to document his time in Vietnam for himself and others, but also as a shop window onto his writing. He doesn’t bother too much about advertising, but still manages to sell a spot on his blog for $260 a month.
Craig and Graham had emailed each other before, but this was the first time they had spoken. It’s great fun getting bloggers of the world together on Skype conference calls, but getting good sound quality with three microphones open at the same time is ‘challenging.’ I want to perfect my technique, and I’m always looking for guests and ideas for podcasts, so if you would like to join me in an experiment over Skype, get in touch (hugh at blog-relations.com). And if you are a blogger passing through London, I’ll buy you a pint of warm beer and stick a microphone in front of you.
When choosing new MP3 players or any other kinds of electronics it’s a good idea to read reviews of electronics before buying.
